Jana Schleif Interiors is a boutique interior design firm based in Southlake, Texas, creating bold, elevated homes that reflect the people who live in them. Every project is layered with personality, functionality, and intention. We believe in designing for real life—with soul, with style, and with staying power.

Junior Designer (CAD)

​​

Southlake, Texas (in-person)
Full-time position

​

We’re searching for a driven, highly organized Junior Designer with a passion for residential interiors. You thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented studio, and you know how to bring big ideas to life through AutoCAD, thoughtful sourcing, and team collaboration.

​

What You'll Do

  • Create detailed CAD drawings (floor plans, elevations, custom details)

  • Develop mood boards, material palettes, and design concepts

  • Source furniture, fixtures, finishes—including custom pieces

  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants

  • Assist with pricing, quotes, and purchase orders

  • Support designers during installs and manage on-site details

  • Manage timelines, juggle priorities, and keep projects on track

 

What You Bring

  • Degree or diploma in Interior Design

  • 3+ years of experience in residential interior design

  • Strong portfolio showcasing creativity + technical skills

  • AutoCAD proficiency required

  • Bonus points for experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, Canva, Asana, and Google Suite

  • Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation

Procurement / Expeditor

Full-time

​

We’re looking for an ultra-organized, solution-oriented Procurement / Expeditor to keep our projects moving and our deliveries on time. This role is the heartbeat of logistics—managing orders, tracking lead times, and making sure everything lands exactly when and where it should.

​

What You'll Do

  • Place and track orders for furnishings, finishes, and materials

  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to confirm details and timelines

  • Maintain pricing and vendor relationships

  • Oversee shipping schedules and installations to prevent delays

  • Conduct quality control on deliveries and resolve discrepancies

  • Keep the team in the loop with updates on status and timelines

  • Manage on-site deliveries and logistics during install days

 

What You Bring

  • Degree in Interior Design, Business, or related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or expediting in the design industry

  • Knowledge of furnishings, finishes, and interior materials

  • Strong communication, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Familiarity with Houzz Pro, Asana, and Google Suite a plus
